SoloTrip to Taipei – ShiFen

My first time to this old town along the tracks.

Touristy, with still some surreal magic left in its derelict buildings and shoe – worn paths. Glad I made it there.

When words fail, drawings speak.

The friendly one who came and just plonked himself there.

When you want to take a self-timer picture and a fly buzzes near your ear, causing you to freak a little.

The Streets of Leura

Despite some tourist hoards, the place still managed to maintain her quiet charm and dignity, winning my heart almost immediately. Can’t help but imagine what it’ll be like to live in a village like this. Urban, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the only crowds you’d see┬ácoming from the tourist buses or train station.
