Somewhere in a corner on this island, lies a block of forsaken flats.

Forsaken…

… but not forgotten.

After all, they are worth $175.9million!

But like a dying fish gasping for a last breadth of air, Henry Congressional appeared.

Unassuming and humble.

Good food and tea.
With minimalist decor.

Reasonably quiet.

Provider of new loves.

Where will they move to after the en-bloc takes place? No one knows yet. But I do hope it’s somewhere where the original spirit of the place can be retained. Where the people do not seem stressed by the pressures of a capitalist economy. Where they can be happy just making coffee, tea and cookies for visitors. I guess that sound like a little too much to hope for. We do live in a highly-urbanized society, after all.

Will I still get to see this place as I saw it today? Only time will tell.
Am just glad that I managed to catch a glimpse of the life here still untouched by the 175.9million development project – whatever that will bring.
All in all, a good prelude to the trip 🙂
