Stolen moments
When there is Beauty
Right in front
Yet
All we can think of
Is otherwise.

Adventures in Byron Bay III
On the Sunday of that weekend, we woke up slightly before 6am.
“Do you want to go see the sunrise, it’s just down the road.”
So, with a pair of muddy gumboots (which, ironically were supposed to protect my feet from the mud), we walked to the road.
And wow.
After a few moments of oohing and aahing, we realised that the scenery was really good for silhouette shots!
So the poses began.
The dear friend who climbed on top of a tractor. Or a machine of some sort.
I decided to stay safely with the trees.
There’s nothing like a good sunrise to start the day.
Carriageworks and Us
My second time there, and I am still mesmerized by the space it offers.
Was also glad for the company, and the shared fun in taking the kind of pictures only people of the “same kind” would know how to appreciate…
On This Day
On days when the noises get unbearable
At times when the fleeting moments stretch into seeming eternity
All I want to do is take flight
With the music, the camera, the notebook and pen.
And float away on a solitary journey with my soul.
To a world where
The music speaks,
The pictures feel,
And the words heal.
