Rainy Days
Have not experienced a full rainy day like this for a while. I never thought I’d say this, but since humidity levels have changed, over here I’d prefer the sun over clouds any day.
Home Away From Home
It’s been about a week since I first stepped into this room, and already, I can imagine how I’m going to feel when its time to leave.

Back in sg, I felt the frequent need to escape to cafes because I needed that time alone. But here, it seems to be the opposite. I am alone by default, and I go out to look for people only when I feel the need to (which, well, isn’t very often).
I miss the people back home, but for now…

Espresso Revamped
It’s been a while since I dropped by. Was surprised to see that the white walls with friendly-looking vines were gone. In place was a cement-coloured wall, bare and somewhat more distant. More “cool”, but distant.
Change is constant, after all.
Veggie Cottage
Another backdated post, from our visit to Veggie Cottage some time back.
A simple, relatively quiet place, with not-too-bad food and drinks, to spend the afternoon – that is, if you don’t mind slightly flimsy chairs, the occasional loud chatter, and the temperamental air-conditioning.
