MayFair Cafe

Passed this by chance while walking back from Aslan. Couldn’t resist and took a seat. Wasn’t expecting much when I ordered the Hot Chocolate but was very pleased to see the effort. It’s always safer to have no expectations after all.

So crowded, I did not manage to get good shots the first time.

But it was nice enough a place, that I had to go back to get them.

Chanced upon this place along Telok Ayer Street and decided to venture in, since I’ve heard/read about them sometime back. Besides, it was raining cats and dogs and I wasn’t in a hurry to be anywhere else (Yes, the joy of holidays).

Not a bad place to sit alone and read, though it might be a little crammed for gathering with friends. Also, despite the slightly noisy atmosphere, the people are friendly and attentive, and try their best to make you feel at home 🙂
