Just doing what we do best. Enjoying the warm drinks, space, and silence. Oh and laughing at random grumpy cats in sling bags on the streets.
And that was day 3 🙂

Do not judge a barista by the cafe.
Have you ever had days when you think that you’ll never be “one of those people”?
You’ll never be one of those people who wins the lottery.
You’ll never be one of those people who gets the top prize at the company’s annual dinner and dance.
You’ll never be one of those people who are at the right place at the right time.
I used to think all these were really far-fetched too. I mean, I don’t even buy the lottery, so that really decreases my chances of winning by… a lot.
Until the day I won a MARS BAR.
I didn’t even see the words on the packaging. I only bought it because it was a light grocery day, I wanted to give myself a treat, I felt like munching on something sweet on the way home, and the Bars were on offer.
Certainly restores my faith in the world 🙂
Thanks to the newly-opened Downtown Line, getting here has become so much easier. Immensely enjoyed the solitude time here, as half the time I was left alone and in peace 🙂
There’s also a very good reason why they’re well-known for their speciality in Chocolate!
Perfect chocolate brownie (I heard their Lava Cake is to die for), free wifi, and good lighting for reading.
A more spacious seating area would be a bonus, but I’m not complaining!
A superbly backdated post. Didn’t have a good experience with the Chai Latte (Reminder to self – I do not like Cinnamon) and the noise level, but otherwise enjoyed taking pictures of the relaxing and lovely decor.
