Have you heard of The Berlin Patient?
Edgar Tang did, and he proceeded to embark on a journey to find out more about him, how The Berlin Patient became to only person to ever be cured of HIV, his take on AIDS, and his views on life, resulting in this documentary-film.
Although the film’s quality can be described to be raw and the portrayal of the mission at times exceedingly simple, it is the agenda behind the film, and the fact that Edgar is a cancer-survivor himself, which drew my sympathy, support and identification with his journey.
There are many ways in which we can feel outcasted from society.
There are also many ways in which one can seek acceptance.
